Hi everybody! We're having an amazing time, it's completely unbelievable. Today we drove for a while out of the city to a girls' home, where there were 80 girls between 4 and about 15, run by nuns. Ellie will sleep well tonight, she played hard all day. She even danced a little, don't worry, I have it on video. All of the older girls wanted to come home with us, and believe me, Sue and I would have taken them all. The head nun told us at the end that she was so happy we came, it gave the girls such hope for the future, because they are at the age when they start to dream, and that they would dream of us tonight. I was in tears at the end, and one of the girls felt sorry for me, and hugged me and rubbed my back. Then she smiled and said in Spanish, "I'll go home with you!"
The guys worked hard, and we're all back at Hannah's Hope for dinner before going back to the hotel to crash! It feels so good to take a shower and fall in bed at night! There is so much to tell, and so much to do, that it seems overwhelming. We are so incredibly spoiled, and so ignorant of it, I can't even describe it. The guys are going back to the job site in the Limonada tomorrow and probably Friday, it's a really big job, so please keep praying for their safety. Where they work is safe, but they have a lot of work to do. We miss you all, and love you, Joe, Ana, Micah, and Matt. Keep being good for Gramma and Grampa, I can't wait to see you on Monday and kiss you all up! XOXOXO! Love, Amy AKA Mommy
