Hola!
We had an amazing day today. The men worked in the ghetto all day and were able to work on two homes. The poverty in the ghetto is unbelievable. The owner's of the homes were so appreciative! Some of the women went along to help on the work crew in the morning, but most of us stayed back at Hannah's to help out the special mothers. After lunch we went to two more orphanages in the city. When we arrived at both places, the kids came up to us right away with kisses and hugs. We brought them gifts and candy....that went over really well! It was hard to see the conditions that these children live in, but still....always a smile on their face.
Tomorrow we travel to the village of Santa Rosa to an all girls orphanage. We will be doing a VBS with the girls, cleaning, repairing, and just generally showing them the love of Jesus.

We can learn a lot from children, can't we. . . I can't even imagine what joy you're bringing to all the people that you're coming into contact with, young and old. It's awesome to hear that God's work is being done. Thanks for the quick up-dates on your day! Luv, Dawn
